Well, he “dies” in the books too, but he survives the fall over the waterfall and the fall off the building. Someone came up with a really good theory involving some careful tricks of perception and a truck as to how he survived.
But no, the show’s not over, they’re having a season 3 in about, ooooh, EIGHTEEN MONTHS.
